Requirements
 

TouchTop needs the following system requirements:

  • Windows 7 / 8 64bit
  • CPU Intel Core i3/i5 (or equivalent performance)
  • 4 GB RAM
  • Minimum Intel HD 3000 Graphics (An NVidia or ATI Graphics card with at least 1GB of memory is recommended)

 

TouchTop installer will make sure package dependencies are installed:

  • Visual C++ 2012 (x86 and x64) runtime
  • Visual C++ 2010 (x86 and x64) runtime
  • Microsoft DirectX 9.0c (latest release)
  • Microsoft Surface 2.0 runtime
  • Adobe Flash Player plugin (NPAPI version)
  • K-Lite Codec Pack (x64)

 

In order to perform automatic conversion of Microsoft Office® files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a licensed copy of Microsoft Office 2010 (Home Business, Standard or Professional edition) must be already installed on the system.



Installation


TouchTop installation is automated by the installer, which will auto-update itself to the latest release and start a guided wizard:

 

License Agreement

 

Please read the End User License Agreement (EULA) carefully before installing TouchTop on your machine.

 

By checking the “I Agree” checkbox you confirm reading and agreeing to the license conditions.

 

 

 


Install dependencies

 

TouchTop dependencies will be listed with a red icon if they need to be installed.

You can click on the right arrow to automatically and silently install all the needed dependencies at once.

You can also install individual dependencies manually clicking on the link, this way the full package install dialog will appear.

 

Additional software dependencies are not necessary to run TouchTop, even if they are recommended to access all the available functions.

 

 

 

 


Choose License

 

In order to run TouchTop you need a license file, at the time of install you have the following options:

 

1) Keep existing License

If this is not the first install of the application, a license file will already be present. You should choose this option if you want to keep it.

 

2) Trial License

It will install a trial license that will run TouchTop for a number of allowed days. You can choose this option only once.

 

3) Enter serial number

If you already received a license serial, either a trial extension or a purchased permanent one, you can enter the serial. Pressing “Activate” will contact the licensing server and activate the license. After this operation the serial is no longer valid for installation on other machines.

 

You can also insert directly a license file, license files are an alternative licensing option.

  

Application Installation

 

In this page the installer will check connectivity with the distribution server and install the latest version of TouchTop.

 

Note: this step can be repeated any time, since the application will not be re-installed, but will be checked for the latest update.

 

 

 

Download sample content

 

TouchTop comes with a set of pre-configured spaces with different types of contents.

These are useful for getting started using the application, so you are recommended to download it once.

 

If you are repeating this step, only spaces that have not been downloaded will be installed.

  

 

 

End of Installation

 

At the end of installation you are given the option to run it immediately.
