If the Panel cannot properly start the Player it is possible that some Antivirus application is blocking the player process.

Some antiviruses (for example AVG) are known to detect suspicious behaviour in FaçadeSignage player because it needs to communicate to the Licensing server at startup.

They will then "block" the FaçadeSignage.exe application.

In order to fix this behaviour please follow one of these suggesions:

  • Add the detected executable path into the exception list.
    Since FaçadeSignage.exe has not a default location, you will need to look at the path provided by your antivirus.

  • Try to re-install the application while the antivirus is disabled.

  • Disable the antivirus completely (not recommended)
